Functional characteristics
Communication protocol support: Supports multiple communication protocols, such as the ABB protocol COMLI for data transmission between controllers, and the widely used MODBUS RTU protocol, etc. Among them, the COMLI protocol supports half-duplex asynchronous master/slave communication and can be used in conjunction with application-controlled dial-up modems. CI853 supports the master/slave mode in COMLI and only the master mode in MODBUS RTU.
Hot plugging function: It supports hot plugging, allowing for the insertion and removal of modules while the system is running without interrupting the system operation, which facilitates the maintenance and upgrade of the equipment.
