BENTLY  3500/22  Transient Data Interface (TDI)

Functional features: It serves as the interface between the 3500 monitoring System and Bentley System 1TM mechanical management software, integrating the functions of the 3500/20 framework interface module (RIM) and communication processors (such as TDXnet). When used in conjunction with M series monitors (such as 3500/40M, 3500/42M, etc.), it can continuously collect steady-state and transient waveform data and transmit the data to the main computer software via Ethernet. It has standard static data acquisition capabilities. With the optional channel-enabled disk, it can also collect dynamic and high-resolution transient data.
Installation location: It is located in the first slot of the 3500 frame, adjacent to the power module.

Communication interface and Protocol:
Interface: Supports Ethernet (10Base-T / 100Base-TX Ethernet, 100Base-FX fiber Ethernet), has an RJ45 interface, and supports 10BASE-T star configuration Ethernet; If the relevant modules are configured, the USB interface is also supported. The front panel has a USB-B interface.
Agreement: Support Ethernet TCP/IP and serial (RS232/RS422/RS485) communication protocols As well as the Modicon Modbus protocol (via serial communication), the Modbus/TCP protocol (a variant of serial Modbus used for TCP/IP Ethernet communication), and the proprietary Bently Nevada protocol (used with 3500 Rack configuration and data acquisition software package communication.

Front panel indicator lights and relays
Indicator light: OK LED is used to confirm the normal operation of 3500/22M. The TX/RX LED displays the communication status of 3500/22M with other modules in the frame; TM LED is an indication that the frame is in the alarm multiplier mode. The CONFIG OK LED confirms that the 3500 framework has a valid configuration.
Relay: The I/O module OK relay indicates the operating status or detected errors of the 3500 frame through the relay.
