Functional parameters
Analog input: Receive external analog signals such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate, and convert them into digital signals for processing and monitoring by the control system.
Data acquisition: It has the capability of high-precision data acquisition, capable of real-time collection and recording of analog input signal values, and sending them to the control system or data processing unit.

Channel characteristics
Number of channels: There are usually 16 channels, supporting differential input (only channels 13 to 16).
Input type: Supports high-level current or voltage input. Channels 13-16 support voltage input. Each channel’s 250-ohm load resistor is connected to the input terminal via a jumper. Users can cut the jumper as needed to use the voltage transmitter. For channels 13-16, the low-side input connection is usually connected to the system’s common terminal through the jumper on the iota. Users can cut the jumper to achieve differential operation, but it must be operated within the common mode voltage specification.
Other features
Self-diagnostic function: It has a wide range of self-diagnostic functions, capable of detecting fault states such as open circuit, over-range, and under-range, and can also provide non-flammable on-site power supply.
Support for Hart protocol: It supports the Hart protocol, enabling rapid collection of control variables with multi-variable instruments and multiple modems, achieving fast loop scanning, and diagnosing and protecting process variables through open circuit detection.
