Processor: Typically, a 32MHz MC68040 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor is adopted, featuring an 8KB cache, a memory management unit (MMU), and a floating-point unit (FPU). Optional 25MHz MC68040 32-bit microprocessor or 25MHz MC68LC040 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor are also available, both with 8KB cache and MMU.
Memory configuration: Standard 4MB shared dynamic random access memory (DRAM), supports expansion up to 16MB, and some models can be increased to 64MB by expanding the mezzanine. It is equipped with a 512KB static random access memory (SRAM) with a spare battery to ensure that data is not lost after power failure.
Storage: Built-in 1MB Flash memory, some models have 2MB, supports EPROM and Flash expansion, and has a JEDEC standard 32-pin PLCC EPROM socket, allowing for storage expansion as needed.
Interface: Two serial communication ports are provided. The console port is EIA-232-D DTE. The second port can be configured by the user as EIA-232-D/EIA-422 (V.36) DTE/DCE. It also features 4 16 or 32-bit IndustryPack ports, each equipped with a DMA channel. In addition, a Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) bus interface or an Ethernet transceiver interface can be optionally equipped, both of which are equipped with a 32-bit local bus DMA.
Bus: It adopts the VME bus standard and supports A32/D64 master/slave interfaces. It features programmable short, standard and extended VMEbus addressing, programmable AM code, as well as 16-bit and 32-bit VMEbus data widths. The VMEbus access timer can also be configured through software, with software-configured BR0*-BR3 * request levels.
Timer: It has 6 32-bit timers, among which 4 are independent of VMEbus, and there is also a programmable watchdog timer, which is helpful for the execution of system scheduled tasks and system stability monitoring.
Environmental adaptability: The operating temperature range is -40 °C to + 85°C, the relative humidity is 5% to 95% (without condensation), the seismic performance complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard, and it can adapt to harsh industrial environments.
Power supply and power consumption: Supports sampling accuracy of + 5V and ±1ms, 12V wide-range DC input, typical power consumption of 20W, meeting the requirements of distributed control architecture.
