Processor: Equipped with a 25MHz MC68040 microprocessor, featuring a floating-point coprocessor, it boasts outstanding processing speed and floating-point operation performance, making it suitable for both scientific and industrial application scenarios.
Memory: Equipped with 16MB DRAM, it can meet the memory requirements of various industrial control and computing tasks.
Interface features: It is equipped with a full 32-bit master-slave VME bus interface, supports high-performance DMA, and has remote reset/stop/status control functions. It can be flexibly programmed to achieve maximum system integration.
Clocks and timers: including elapsed time clocks, day-by-day time clocks, as well as software and hardware watchdog timers. Among them, the running time of the CPU after being powered on is tracked by the time clock, and it will restart when there is a power failure. The time clock throughout the day is battery-powered and can remain in its current state during power outages. It can be read and set for time and date through programming software or applications.
Other functions: Some models such as MVME167-033A are multi-axis motion control modules with four 36-pin I/O connectors, supporting two control loop configurations. They can be used together with GE Fanucβi series digital servo amplifiers and motors, and have functions such as block processing time of less than 5 milliseconds, speed feedforward and position error integrator. It can also perform non-volatile storage for 10 programs and 40 subroutines.
