Power parameters: The nominal rated voltage is AC 120/240 Vac or DC 125 Vdc, and the input voltage range is 85 to 264 Vac or 100 to 300 Vdc. The maximum input power at full load is 70 W, and the maximum inrush current is 4 A/250 ms. The maximum output power is 40 W, among which the output of 5.1 Vdc is 30 W and that of 3.3 Vdc is 30 W. In terms of output voltage, the 24 Vdc output is 19.2 to 28.8 Vdc, the 5.1 Vdc output is 5.0 to 5.2 Vdc (nominal value 5.1 Vdc), and the 3.3 Vdc output is 3.1 to 3.5 Vdc (nominal value 3.3 Vdc).

Electrical characteristics: The ripple and noise (all outputs) are both 150 mV, and the ride-through time is 20 ms, that is, the duration for which the power supply maintains effective output when the power is interrupted is 20 ms. Each terminal can accept A 14 AWG to 22 AWG wire, with a current of 6 A at each terminal. The number of PSA040 power supplies that can be connected in a Daisy chain is up to 4.
Overcurrent protection: The electronic limit for 5.1Vdc output is 7A, and for 3.3Vdc output, it is 10A. If an overload (including a short circuit) occurs, it will be detected internally and the power supply will be cut off. The power supply will continue to try to restart until the overload condition is eliminated. There is an internal non-repairable fuse in the input line as a backup.

Function Settings: Parameters such as the starting address of the local PLC, the address of the remote device, the number of coils in the remote device, and unit identifiers can be set for communication with Modbus/TCP devices. For example, data from the local PLC can be written to the remote Modbus/TCP server.
Other features: It can be used in conjunction with the micro converter kit (IC690ACC901) to achieve the conversion from RS-422 (SNP) to RS-232, facilitating connection and communication with different types of devices.
