Description
NI SCXI-1100 32-channel voltage input module
Channel characteristics: It features 32 differential channels, capable of signal conditioning for millivolt, volt and current signals. All channels are multiplexed through a 4Hz low-pass filter selected by the jumper, and these channels can be multiplexed into a single channel controlling the DAQ device, increasing the number of channels in the DAQ system.
Electrical parameters: The maximum operating voltage is ±10V, and the input impedance is as high as 100MΩ, which can minimize the load effect on the signal source. Meanwhile, the 4Hz filter can effectively suppress noise.
Connector type: The front end is a 96-pin male DIN C connector, the rear end is a 50-pin male ribbon cable connector, and a 70-pin screw terminal adapter can also be used for convenient connection of various signal sources.
Compatible terminal blocks: It can be used in conjunction with various NI terminal blocks, such as SCXI-1300, SCXI-1303, SCXI-1308, BNC-2095, TC-2095, TBX-1303, TBX-96 and SCXI-1310, etc.
Processing speed: The processing speed is approximately 580 reads per second, which can meet the requirements of some scenarios that have certain demands for data collection speed.
Operating temperature: The recommended operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C.
Application scenarios
Industrial process monitoring
It is used to collect millivolt-level signals from sensors (such as pressure and temperature transmitters), and after conditioning, it is connected to the PLC or DAQ system to achieve real-time monitoring of production data.
Scientific research and laboratory measurement
It is suitable for weak signal detection (such as bioelectric signals, material stress testing), and reduces environmental noise interference through low-pass filtering.
Low-cost multi-channel expansion
When the channels of the DAQ device are insufficient, 32 signals are multiplexed to a single acquisition channel through SCXI-1100 to reduce the hardware cost of the system.
Vibration and strain testing
In combination with charge amplifiers or strain gauges, the dynamic strain signals are adjusted for the health monitoring of mechanical structures.
