NI SCXI-1305 Terminal module
Convenient channel connection: Equipped with 8 BNC connectors, it can directly connect to 8 channels and can be conveniently connected to the input connectors of various modules such as SCXI-1120/D, SCXI-1121, and SCXI-1125 to achieve signal access. In addition, it is equipped with one SMB connector, which can be used to access the digital signals of the module or provide signals such as hold trigger and external clock for specific modules.
Flexible coupling mode: Each channel can be set to AC or DC coupling through a switch. When AC coupling is used, the turn-off frequency is 0.16Hz, and it has a DC suppression capability of ±50V. The input impedance of each channel is 2MΩ for differential and 1MΩ for common mode. It can be used to extract the AC components in the signal and filter out the DC bias. Dc coupling can be used to measure signals containing DC components.
High voltage tolerance: The maximum operating voltage of the channel to ground is ±42VDC, and the maximum voltage applied to any other channel between channels is also ±42VDC. It can adapt to a certain range of high-voltage signal environments and has good electrical safety and signal adaptability.
Wide operating temperature range: The recommended operating temperature range is 0℃ to 50℃, and the storage temperature range is -20 ℃ to 70℃. It can operate in a relatively wide temperature environment and is suitable for various industrial environments and application scenarios.

The field of industrial automation
Connect the pressure transmitter (4~20mA signal) to monitor the pipeline pressure, directly connect it to SCXI-1305 through DC coupling, and combine it with the SCXI-1124 current conditioning module to convert it into a voltage signal for analysis by PLC or data acquisition card.
Collect the vibration signals of rotating machinery (such as the acceleration of fan bearings), use AC coupling to filter out the static offset of the machinery, and combine with a charge amplifier (such as SCXI-1122) to amplify the weak vibration signals to achieve fault early warning.
The field of scientific research and laboratories
In the material mechanics experiment, the strain (DC coupling), loading force (DC coupling) and temperature (DC coupling) of the tensile specimen are monitored simultaneously. The displacement trigger signal of the testing machine is connected through the SMB interface to ensure that the data is consistent with the action sequence.
In the acoustic experiment, eight channels were connected to the microphone array. The noise spectrum was collected in the AC coupling mode, and the sound source location analysis was carried out in combination with the LabVIEW software.
Energy and Electricity
Transformer oil temperature monitoring: DC coupling is connected to the PT100 thermal resistance signal. The high-impedance input of SCXI-1305 reduces the lead resistance error. Combined with the SCXI-1120 bridge module, it is converted into a voltage signal to monitor the oil temperature changes in real time.
Photovoltaic array I-V characteristic test: DC coupling collects the current and voltage of the solar panels. ±42V withstand voltage is suitable for the high-voltage output of photovoltaic arrays (such as 12V~36V battery packs), and supports long-term continuous monitoring of power generation efficiency.
