NI  PXIE-5105 oscilloscope module

PXIE-5105  is a high-performance PXI Express oscilloscope module launched by NI (National Instruments), specifically designed for modular test and measurement systems. Its core indicators include:
Bandwidth: 60MHz, capable of capturing the detailed changes of medium and high-frequency signals.
Number of channels: 8 analog input channels, supporting multi-channel synchronous acquisition.
Resolution: 12 bits. Compared with the common 8-bit oscilloscope, it can provide more precise voltage quantization accuracy (about 4096 levels) and reduce measurement noise.
Sampling rate: The maximum sampling rate for a single channel is 1.25GS/s (1.25 billion samplings per second), supporting real-time capture of fast transient signals.

High-speed sampling and storage
By adopting real-time sampling technology and combining with 16MB of deep on-board memory, it can record high sampling rate data for a long time (for example, when sampling at 1.25GS/s, a single channel can store approximately 12.8μs of waveform).
Supports segmented storage mode, which can skip the unchanging signal segments and only capture the data near the trigger event, improving efficiency.
Triggering and analysis capabilities
Supports multiple trigger modes: edge trigger, pulse width trigger, underamplitude trigger, logic trigger (in conjunction with digital channel expansion), etc., to accurately locate abnormal signals.
It is equipped with an internal waveform analysis tool that can calculate parameters such as frequency, amplitude, rise time, and duty cycle in real time, and supports FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) spectrum analysis.

Based on the PXIe interface, the data transmission rate can reach 2GB/s, far exceeding the traditional PXI bus, and is suitable for real-time transmission of high-frequency data to the host or synchronization with other modules.
