NI PXI-2522 Universal relay module
PXI-2522 is a universal relay module launched by NI Company. It is a 53-channel single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay module and is suitable for applications such as load control of automated test equipment or control of heaters, lights and fans.
Electrical performance: The maximum switching voltage is 100V, with a switching and carrying capacity of 2A, which can meet the switching requirements in various medium and low voltage and current scenarios.
Relay characteristics: Each relay is non-latched type, featuring extremely low on-resistance and low thermal offset, which ensures the stability and accuracy of signal transmission and reduces measurement errors and other issues caused by resistance and thermal offset.
Functional features: Supports on-board relay counting and tracking function. Users can monitor the usage frequency of relays through this function, which is convenient for predicting maintenance and timely replacing relays that are about to reach their service life to ensure the reliable operation of the system. In addition, this module fully utilizes the timing and synchronization capabilities of the PXI platform, enabling rapid communication with PXI instruments such as digital multimeters or oscilloscopes that can send and receive advanced triggers.
Software support: Supports PXI and IVI-Switch API standards, and can be used in conjunction with LabVIEW virtual instrument control software, facilitating users’ programming and system integration. Meanwhile, it can store the status of 1024 relay channels and switch automatically. During the automatic switching process, it can be linked with external trigger signals and can also send out trigger signals at the end of the stable delay time.
Physical characteristics: Typically 3U in size, it can be installed in a slot of a PXI chassis, facilitating integration into the PXI system, saving space and being easy to maintain and expand.
Connection method: Multiple DIN 160 connector terminal options are provided, which can be flexibly connected and conveniently connected with different devices and lines to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
