Working Principle:
- Input Rectification and Filtering: Firstly, the input 120/240VAC alternating current is converted into pulsating direct current through a rectifier bridge, and then electromagnetic interference and noise are removed by the input filter capacitor to obtain a relatively smooth direct current voltage.
- Power Conversion: This is a key link, consisting of switching tubes (such as MOSFET) and high-frequency transformers. The control circuit generates pulse signals to drive the switching tube, making it turn on and off at a relatively high frequency. When the switching tube is turned on, energy is stored in the high-frequency transformer; when the switching tube is turned off, a voltage is induced in the secondary winding of the transformer.
- Output Rectification and Filtering: The induced voltage passes through the output rectification and filtering circuit such as diode rectification and capacitor filtering to obtain a stable 24VDC direct current output voltage, which supplies power to the backend equipment. At the same time, the output filter capacitor can also eliminate ripples in the output power supply and improve voltage stability.
- Control and Feedback: The control circuit continuously monitors the output voltage and adjusts the conduction duty cycle of the switching tube according to its changes to ensure that the output voltage is stable at the set value. If the output voltage increases, the control circuit reduces the duty cycle; if the output voltage decreases, it increases the duty cycle. In addition, the module may also be equipped with overcurrent, overvoltage and other protection circuits to ensure the safety of the module and backend equipment.
