  • Interface Type: It adopts an RJ-45 interface, supports transmission speeds of 10Mbps and 100Mbps, and supports full-duplex and half-duplex modes. It also has MDI/MDI-X automatic polarity detection function, which facilitates network connection and configuration and ensures the stability and reliability of network communication.
  • Transmission Distance: When using Category 5 or higher twisted-pair cables as the transmission medium, the maximum transmission distance can reach 100 meters, meeting the wiring needs of general industrial sites.
  • Working Environment: The operating temperature range is -25°C to +70°C, which can adapt to different industrial environment temperature conditions; the working voltage is 5V DC, the maximum current consumption is 300mA, which has relatively low requirements on the power supply and low power consumption.
  • Compliance Standards: It complies with relevant standards such as IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, and 802.3ab, ensuring the compatibility and interoperability of the module in network communication.

Application Fields

  • Petrochemical Industry: In processes such as oil refining and chemical production, it is used for monitoring and controlling various process parameters, such as the input of signals like temperature, pressure, and flow, to ensure the safe and stable operation of the production process and prevent safety accidents such as leaks and explosions.
  • Electric Power Industry: It can be used in places such as power plants and substations to collect and process various signals in the power system, such as switch status signals and protection signals, providing reliable data support for the automatic control and protection of the power system.
  • Industrial Automation Production Lines: In industrial automation production lines such as automobile manufacturing and electronic equipment production, it is used to input and process various equipment status signals and product counting signals on the production line, realizing automatic control and management of the production line, and improving production efficiency and product quality.

Working Principle
Its working principle is to use logic gates in digital circuits to realize the input and processing of digital signals. It mainly receives external signals through the input interface, and after signal processing and logical conversion, converts them into signals recognizable by computers. The details are as follows:

Signal Reception: The HIMA F5203 module receives digital signals from external devices through the input interface. These external devices can be switches, sensors, etc. For example, the closing or opening state of a switch will generate corresponding switching signals, and the analog signals such as temperature and pressure measured by sensors are converted into digital signals after sampling and amplification, and then acquired by the input interface of the module.
Signal Processing: The internal signal processing part of the module will process the received digital signals. Since external signals may have jitter or interference, the signal processing part will perform operations such as debouncing and filtering. These processes can ensure the stability and reliability of the output digital signals and avoid misjudgment or wrong data input caused by unstable signals.
Logical Conversion: The processed digital signals will be converted by the logic part of the module into signals recognizable by computers, usually binary 0 or 1. The module will map these digital signals to corresponding input addresses so that the computer or control system connected to the module can read and process these signals, and then perform subsequent control logic operations or make corresponding decisions according to the signal status, so as to realize the monitoring and control of industrial processes.
