Description
ABB 216GW62 input transformer assembly
Function and role: It is mainly used to adjust the signal level and isolate the CT (current transformer) and PT (voltage transformer) circuits of the primary system from the electronic circuits of the protection device, providing stable and accurate input signals for REG216 and ensuring that the protection device can reliably monitor and protect the operating status of the power system.
Configuration options: PT and two types of CT are available for selection to meet different precision and dynamic performance requirements. This component can accommodate up to 12 transformers, and the selection can be made according to the application requirements. Up to four components can be used, providing 48 input terminals, which can flexibly adapt to the protection requirements of power systems of different scales and complexities.
Number of channels: It can accommodate up to 12 transformers at most, that is, there are 12 input channels. Up to four components can be used, and 48 input terminals can be provided.
Connection type: Directly connected to the current transformer (CT) and voltage transformer (PT) of the primary system.
Precision and Performance: One PT and two CT options are provided to meet different precision and dynamic performance requirements.
Measurement accuracy: It is equipped with a dedicated measurement TA, which can make current measurement more accurate (for reverse power protection).
Coordination with other units: One 216EA61 input unit can be connected to up to two 216GW62 input converter modules. The 216GW62 input converter unit transmits the analog measurement variable signal to the 216EA61 input unit, which performs digital processing and then sends it to the B448C bus.
