BENTLY  3500/05-01-01-00-00-01  Framework of 3500 Series online monitoring and protection system

Function and purpose: It is used to install all the monitor modules and frame power supplies, provide backplane communication for mutual communication among the 3500 frames, and supply the required power for each module.
Size specifications: There are two types of frames available: full-size and mini. The full-size is a 19-inch EIA frame with 14 available module slots. The mini type is a 12-inch frame with 7 available module slots. For 3500/05-01-01-00-00-01, “01” indicates a full-size 19-inch frame (with 14 module slots).

Installation method:
Panel installation: It is installed in the rectangular cut on the panel and fixed to the panel using the fixture provided with the rack. The wiring connection and I/O module can be accessed from the back of the rack.
Rack installation: Mount the 3500 rack on a 19-inch EIA rail, and the wiring connections and I/O modules can be accessed from the back of the rack.
Bulkhead installation: When access to the rear of the rack is not possible, the rack is installed on the wall or panel, and the wiring connections and I/O modules can be accessed from the front of the rack. However, the 3500/05 mini rack does not support the format of bulkhead mounting.

Module configuration: The power supply and rack interface module must occupy the left rack position. The remaining 14 rack positions (7 rack positions for the mini frame) can be used for any module combination, allowing users to freely configure various functional modules according to actual monitoring needs, such as vibration, displacement, speed, and other monitor modules.
Power support: Supports 1 or 2 3500/15 power modules. The AC input is 100-240V AC and the DC input is 24-28V DC. The main and backup power supplies can be hot-swadd-switched to ensure the high availability of the system.

Communication capability: It integrates communication protocols such as Ethernet (10/100Mbps), RS-485, and USB (with TDI module configuration), supports interconnection with upper computers, DCS systems, and industrial networks, and can conveniently transfer monitoring data to other systems for further analysis and processing.

Other features: Self-detection and fault-tolerant design, which can be configured into multiple redundantly configurations, ranging from adding a second fully redundant power supply to a complete triple modular redundancy (TMR) configuration, fully meeting the application requirements of the most critical tasks.
