BENTLY  3500/20  Framework Interface Module (RIM)

Basic functions: It is the basic interface of the 3500 framework, supporting Bently Nevada’s proprietary protocol for framework configuration and retrieving information from the unit. It can achieve the functions of configuring racks and retrieving machine information. Configuration and retrieval operations can be carried out through the proprietary protocol, and it supports the reading and writing of rack and machine information.
Installation location: It must be located in slot 1 of the rack, that is, near the power supply.

Communication support: Provide the required connections to support the current Bently Nevada communication processors, such as TDXnet, TDIX and DDIX, etc., to achieve data communication and information exchange.
Access permission: Read-only access permission is provided, allowing users to read rack and machine information, but not to write or modify configurations.
Password protection: Store configuration passwords to provide protection against passwords entered in the rack configuration software. Communication with the 3500 rack can only be achieved when the entered password matches the one entered in the rack configuration software.

Special version: For applications that require redundant protection, the 3500 system recommends using the TMR version of RIM. It has added the “Monitor Channel Comparison” function. By continuously comparing the outputs of three redundant monitors, the reliability and security of the system have been improved. If TMR RIM detects that the information of one of the monitors is not equal to that of the other two (within the set percentage), it will mark the monitor as an error state and generate an event in the system event list.

Furthermore, the current specification of the 3500/20 frame interface module is that the maximum current from the dry contact to the common terminal is less than 1mAdc. Supports cable connections up to 30 meters in length; The operating temperature is 30 to + 65 degrees Celsius, the storage temperature is -40 to + 85 degrees Celsius, and the humidity is 95% without condensation.
