Bently  3500/34  triple redundant relay module

Composition and function: It is composed of two TMR relay modules and one TMR relay input/output (I/O) module.

TMR relay module: According to the alarm drive logic programmed by the user, it provides three independent alarm contact signals for each of the four relay channels. Within the TMR framework, the alarm signal is simultaneously provided by three monitors through three independent data channels. The relay module detects each data channel respectively, generates three alarm contact signals, and sends them to the TMR relay I/O module. If the OK status of a certain data channel is NOT OK, the alarm contact signal related to this channel will be set to invalid.

TMR relay I/O module: It contains 12 relays, divided into 4 channel groups, with 3 relays in each group, providing a 3-to-2 relay voting function for the 4 relay channels. For each relay channel, the three alarm contact signals provided by the TMR relay module are respectively input to one relay in the channel group. Furthermore, each TMR relay module provides an OK state detected by the TMR relay I/O module. If the module is in the NOT OK state, the alarm contact signal from this module will not be detected.

Relay type: Three bipolar double-throw (DPDT) relays are connected in a single-pole single-throw (SPST) form and do not support arc extinguishing function. Epoxy seal, contact life 100,000 times @1.5A, 24Vdc or 1A, 120Vac, each channel of the relay is normally energized when in use.

Electrical characteristics: Under resistive load, the maximum switching power is 60 watts DC and 125 volt-amperes AC. The minimum switching current is 100 milliamperes when it is 5 volts DC. The maximum switching current is 2 amperes. The maximum switching voltage is 150 volts for DC and 220 volts for AC.
Environmental characteristics: Operating temperature range: -30 °C to + 65°C (-22°F to + 150°F); The storage temperature is -40° C to + 85°C (-40°F to + 185°F). The humidity is 95% and there is no condensation.

Status indication: The module contains six leds for indicating the operating status. OK. The LED lights up when the module is working normally. The transmission/reception (TX/RX) LED flashes when the communication between the modules within the frame is normal. Channel ALARM (CH ALARM) LED lights up when the relay channel is in the alarm state.
