Description
Bently 3500/50 3500 series monitoring system components
Functional characteristics
Precise rotational speed measurment: By receiving signals from proximity sensors installed near the rotating shaft, the rotational speed of rotating machinery can be precisely measured. It can count and analyze the frequency of keyways or bosses passing through the shaft detected by the sensor, thereby accurately calculating the rotational speed of the shaft. The measurement accuracy is usually ±0.1% or higher.
Key phase marking function: It can identify specific key phase marking positions on the rotating shaft, providing accurate phase references for vibration analysis and other monitoring parameters. This is of great significance for determining the source of vibration, analyzing the operating status of machinery, and diagnosing faults. It helps to distinguish different types of vibration problems, such as imbalance, misalignment, and loosening.
Multiple output methods: It provides rich output interfaces, including analog output (such as 4-20mA current signal, which can be used to connect to other control systems or recorders to display the rotational speed value in real time) and digital output (such as RS-485 communication interface). It can conduct data transmission and communication with the upper computer or other monitoring devices through the MODBUS protocol, as well as relay output (used to trigger alarm or protection actions when the rotational speed exceeds the set threshold or abnormal situations occur).
User configurability: With the configuration software of the 3500 series, users can conveniently configure the parameters of the 3500/50 module, such as setting the speed alarm threshold, selecting the measurement unit (such as revolutions per minute rpm or Hertz Hz), adjusting the sensitivity and width of the key phase pulse, etc., to adapt to different application scenarios and equipment requirements.
Application field
It is widely applied in the condition monitoring systems of various rotating mechanical equipment, such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, etc. By real-time monitoring of rotational speed and providing key phase information, it offers crucial data support for the assessment of equipment operation status, fault diagnosis, and protection control. This helps to promptly detect abnormal operation conditions of the equipment and prevent production accidents and equipment damage caused by abnormal rotational speed or mechanical failures.
