CAUTION 3L046-5 KPC – Industrial Process Controller

The 3L046-5 KPC is a compact industrial controller we’ve seen solving temperature control challenges in chemical processing plants and food manufacturing facilities. Its 65mm depth makes it perfect for retrofitting into existing control cabinets where space is tight.

One of our customers in pharmaceutical manufacturing recently upgraded their reactor temperature control system using this module. They specifically needed the multi-language support for their international maintenance team. The built-in Modbus/TCP capability allowed them to integrate with their existing SCADA system without additional gateways.

For packaging line applications, the programmable function keys come in handy when operators need quick access to common temperature profiles. We’ve also seen this used in plastics extrusion lines where precise temperature gradients are critical.
