Description
Emerson 5X00105G14 core controller board card
Communication and interface characteristics
System communication
Support the Ovation system’s exclusive high-speed communication Protocol (such as Redundancy Protocol) to achieve seamless switching between the primary and backup controllers. The communication rate can reach over 100Mbps, ensuring the real-time performance and reliability of data transmission.
Compatible with industrial standard protocols such as Modbus and EtherNet/IP, it can be connected to third-party devices (such as PLC and HMI).
Expansion interface: It is equipped with multiple high-speed serial interfaces (such as RS-485, RS-232) and Ethernet interfaces, and supports connection with input/output modules (I/O Module), remote I/O stations and the upper computer monitoring system.
Data processing and control functions
Input/Output (I/O) processing:
It can manage hundreds of analog quantity (such as 4-20mA, 0-10V) and switch quantity (DI/DO) data, with a sampling rate of ≤1ms, ensuring a rapid response to industrial field signals.
Supports high-precision A/D and D/A conversion, with a resolution typically of 16 bits or higher (such as analog input accuracy ±0.05% FS).
Reliability and environmental adaptability
Redundant design: Supports hot standby redundancy (Redundant Configuration). When the main controller fails, the standby controller can automatically take over, with a switching time of ≤50ms, ensuring the continuous operation of the system.
Working environment
Temperature range: -40℃ to +70℃ (industrial grade), suitable for harsh industrial scenarios such as high and low temperatures.
Humidity range: 5% – 95%. No condensation. Strong anti-vibration (if in compliance with ISO 16750 standard) and anti-electromagnetic interference (EMC) ability, meeting the electromagnetic environment requirements of industrial sites.
Power supply characteristics: The working voltage is DC 24V (±10%), with power consumption of approximately 15 to 25W. It supports reverse connection protection and overvoltage protection.
Application scenarios
It is applicable to process control in fields such as power generation (such as DCS systems), petrochemicals, metallurgy, and municipal engineering, and can be used as a core controller to achieve real-time monitoring and regulation of equipment such as boilers, steam turbines, and reactors.
