Type and Function: As an overspeed protection monitoring module, it is an important component of the Emerson AMS 6300 SIS overspeed protection system. It is mainly used to monitor the rotational speed of rotating machinery. Once an overspeed situation is detected, an alarm will be issued and interlocking measures will be taken to prevent equipment damage. Meanwhile, it can also serve as an analog input card to receive various analog signals from industrial sites, such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc., and convert them into digital signals that computers can process. It can also be used as a digital quantity expansion module to increase the number of digital input and output channels, receive digital input signals and control digital output signals to perform various control and monitoring tasks.

Input/output: Supports digital input/output channel expansion, and can be connected to various sensors and actuators. Compatible with eddy current sensors, Hall element sensors and magnetic (VR) sensors.
Signal processing: It has high-precision signal processing capabilities, capable of converting analog signal input into digital signals, with strong real-time performance and a response time of less than 10ms.
Electrical parameters: The output frequency is 60Hz, the working voltage is within the standard industrial voltage range, and it is usually powered by a 24VDC power supply.

Protection performance: The protection grade is IP20 (when installed in a rack), the operating temperature range is -20 °C to + 65°C, and it is equipped with short-circuit protection, electrical isolation, reverse polarity protection and other functions, with high reliability.
Communication interface: Supports multiple communication protocols, such as Profibus DP, facilitating integration with the upper computer system and facilitating remote monitoring and data transmission.
