Description
GE 760-P1-S1-LO-A10-G-T digital relay module
The communication capabilities of the 760-P1-S1-LO-A10-G-T module are designed based on the GE Multilin 760 series platform, featuring the following characteristics:
Standard Communication Interfaces
Serial Communication Ports
- Front-panel RS232: Used for local configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting. Supports ModBus RTU protocol and can connect to portable programmers or PCs.
- Dual Rear RS485/RS422: Enables multi-device networking, allowing simultaneous connection to SCADA systems, substation automation systems, or other intelligent devices. Supports ModBus RTU and DNP3.0 Level 2 protocols.
Optional Ethernet Port
- Supports ModBus TCP/IP and DNP3.0 network protocols, providing high-speed data transmission (10/100Mbps auto-negotiation). Can be integrated into industrial Ethernet or enterprise-level networks.
Communication Protocol Support
- ModBus RTU: For serial communication, supporting standard function codes (read/write registers, coils, etc.), compatible with most industrial devices and software.
- ModBus TCP/IP: An Ethernet-based ModBus protocol enabling high-speed data exchange, suitable for remote monitoring and system integration.
- DNP3.0 Level 2: A communication protocol specifically designed for power systems, supporting event-triggered transmission, telemetry, telecontrol, and remote signaling functions, in compliance with power industry standards.
Data Transmission and Sharing
- Multi-port Concurrent Communication: Enables independent communication through RS232, RS485, and Ethernet ports simultaneously, allowing parallel local configuration and remote monitoring.
- Real-time Data Access: Supports real-time transmission of protection data (such as current, voltage, frequency), event records, fault waveforms, etc., facilitating remote analysis.
- Event-triggered Communication: Supports SOE (Sequence of Events) function with a timestamp accuracy of ≤1ms, capable of recording the exact time sequence of fault occurrences.
Network Integration Capabilities
- Industrial Network Compatibility: Supports redundant network configurations (such as dual Ethernet) to enhance communication reliability; can be integrated with other systems (such as DCS, PLC) via gateways.
- Network Security: Supports IP access control lists (ACL) and data encryption (optional), conforming to industrial network security standards.
Typical Application Scenarios
- Substation Automation: Communicates with RTU and SCADA systems to achieve remote monitoring and control.
- Distributed Energy Management: Integrates distributed power sources such as solar and wind energy, supporting bidirectional communication and coordinated control.
- Industrial 4.0 Integration: As an intelligent device, it connects to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), providing a foundation for data collection and analysis.
Technical Parameters
- Baud Rate: Serial ports support adjustable 300~19200bps; Ethernet ports support 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation.
- Communication Distance: RS485 up to 1200 meters (standard); Ethernet up to 100 meters (UTP) or farther (fiber).
- Concurrent Connections: Ethernet port supports ≥4 concurrent connections to meet the needs of multi-system simultaneous access.
