Description
GE DS200EXDEG1A Digital Input/Output expansion Module
Functional characteristics
Digital quantity I/O expansion
It provides 32 channels of digital input (DI) and 32 channels of digital output (DO), which can expand the I/O points of the control system and meet the requirements of complex industrial scenarios.
The input supports dry contact and wet contact signals, and the output supports relay or transistor (solid-state) output. It can be flexibly configured to adapt to different devices.
High-speed signal processing
It supports high-speed digital signal acquisition and output, with a short response time (typically ≤1ms), and is suitable for control scenarios that require rapid response (such as emergency shutdown and interlock protection).
Redundancy and fail-safe design
Supports TMR (Triple Module Redundancy) architecture, enhances system reliability through a three-out two voting mechanism, and ensures the accuracy of key control signals.
It has a self-diagnostic function, which can monitor the module status in real time. When a fault is detected, it will automatically switch to a redundant channel or trigger a safety response.
Electrical isolation
All I/O channels adopt photoelectric isolation technology, with an isolation voltage as high as 2500Vrms, effectively preventing the influence of external interference on the system and enhancing the anti-interference capability.
Hot plugging ability
Supports online hot plugging, allowing module replacement without power failure, reducing system downtime and enhancing maintenance efficiency.
Compatible system
It is fully compatible with the GE Mark VI and Mark VIe control systems.
It can be integrated as an expansion module into other GE Speedtronic series systems.
Application field
Power industry: Condition monitoring and control of gas turbines and steam turbines (such as valve position feedback, start/stop signals).
Industrial automation: production line control, equipment interlocking, motor start and stop control, etc.
Critical infrastructure: Suitable for scenarios that require high reliability and redundant design, such as nuclear power plants, oil refineries, chemical plants, etc.
