Working principle: Through the ARCNET network protocol, data from different devices is packaged, transmitted and parsed to ensure accurate data transmission in the network and effective communication between devices. It can convert digital signals into a format suitable for transmission in the ARCNET network and realize the sending, receiving and processing of data.
Functional characteristics
Data communication As an ARCNET network interface card, it realizes data communication between devices based on the ARCNET network protocol, ensuring the accurate transmission of data in the network and enabling effective information exchange among different devices. For example, it connects various control units in the gas turbine control system to achieve functions such as control instruction transmission, operation status monitoring, and parameter adjustment.
Signal amplification and adjustment: Equipped with two radio frequency field-effect transistor (RF FET) transistors, it is used to amplify and adjust the signal, ensuring the quality and stability of the signal to adapt to different transmission distances and environmental requirements.
Address setting: Four switches are provided for setting the addresses on the ARCNET core bus (Corebus). Two of the switches correspond to BNC connector A, and the other two correspond to BNC connector B. By setting the addresses reasonably, the devices can have unique identifications in the network, facilitating accurate data transmission and reception as well as device management.
Connection function:
Through the APL (ARCNET communication link of AHA A1 board) and BPL (ARCNET communication link of AHA A2 board) connectors, an ARCNET communication connection is established with the AHA board to achieve data interaction with other related devices.
By using the P1 (LBC586P board bus connection) and P2 (LBC586P board bus connection) connectors, a bus connection is made to the UCIA board, thereby integrating into the entire system’s bus network and achieving broader device interconnection and data sharing.
In the gas turbine control system, the DS200PANAH2A may be used to connect various control units of the gas turbine, achieving functions such as monitoring the operating status of the gas turbine, adjusting parameters, and transmitting control instructions, to ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of the gas turbine.
