Functional characteristics
Motion control capability: It can simultaneously control two axes or two servo motors, achieving precise control of motion and position. It can be used in applications that require high coordination and multi-axis control, such as robots, automated equipment, production lines, etc.
Flexible working mode: It can be configured to operate in both standard and follow-up modes. In standard mode, the module operates and integrates the control with the user logic in the PLC memory to achieve high-performance control. In the driven mode, it provides high-performance electronic drive devices for both the master application and the slave application.
Fully programmable: Supports complex PLC logic functions. Users can customize programming according to specific application scenarios. Up to 10 motion programs can be created and stored in the APM module, offering high flexibility and customization.
Hardware interface: The front panel is equipped with two motion axis ports and two 25-pin high-density ports through a 9-pin D-shell connector, which are used to accommodate servo connections. Custom cables can be used to establish a connection with the module, or pre-assembled cables can be selected, such as the 10-foot / 3-meter IC693CBL311 cable, the 3-foot / 1-meter IC693CBL319 cable, etc., to achieve faster wiring and termination.
Compatibility: Compatible with CPU 311, CPU 313 and CPU 323 in the Series 90-30 series. Up to three APM modules can be installed in these cpus. When compatible with CPU 331 or higher versions, up to eight APM modules are allowed to be installed, with three instances on each substrate.
