Functional characteristics
Watchdog signal monitoring: The front panel is equipped with an LED (WD) to display the existing fail-safe watchdog signals, facilitating staff to understand the system’s safety status in real time.
IO module access signal indication: Through the second LED (SEL), a signal is sent for the access of the IO module in the attached IO box, facilitating the monitoring of operations on the IO module.
Watchdog signal switch: It is equipped with a cover switch WD, which can turn off the WD signal. Thus, when replacing the coupling module F7553, there is no need to release the system for emergency shutdown, improving the convenience and safety of system maintenance.

Encoding switch: The encoding switch (S1.1 to S1.4) is used to set the numbers of the IO bus (cabinet) and subframe, and can be flexibly configured according to the actual application scenario.
Power monitoring: This coupling module can monitor the 5V power supply of the IO subframe and transmit the corresponding status signal to the central module, which helps to detect abnormal power supply conditions in a timely manner and ensure the stable operation of the system. Meanwhile, the module will be automatically tested during operation to ensure its normal functions.
