Application scenarios
Production line monitoring and management: A central control unit used in production lines such as automotive manufacturing and electronic assembly, it collects sensor data (such as temperature, pressure, position, etc.) in real time and communicates with devices such as PLC and frequency converters through four RS-232 serial ports to achieve equipment start and stop control, parameter adjustment and fault early warning.
Robot control: As the motion controller of industrial robots, it connects the encoder and driver through the SCSI interface, and calculates the trajectory of the mechanical arm in combination with the floating-point coprocessor. The Ethernet interface can interact with the upper computer to achieve multi-robot collaborative operation.
Telecommunication base stations and data transmission: As a baseband processing unit in communication base stations, it is connected to the core network through an Ethernet interface, and connected to storage devices through a SCSI interface to cache data. It supports multi-channel serial communication and interaction with peripheral radio frequency modules to achieve signal modulation and demodulation as well as protocol conversion.
Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gateway: Deployed in factory workshops, IT serves as a gateway between OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology) networks. It collects data from PLCS and sensors through the RS-232 serial port and transmits it to the cloud platform via Ethernet. At the same time, it supports edge computing for data preprocessing to reduce the load on the cloud.
Airborne equipment and aircraft control: The flight control system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and helicopters is connected to the inertial measurement unit (IMU) and GPS module via a high-speed VME bus. It calculates the flight attitude in real time and outputs control signals to the servo through a parallel interface to ensure flight stability.
Radar and Signal Processing: As the signal processing node of the radar system, the MC68030 processor and floating-point coprocessor are utilized to quickly calculate parameters such as the target’s azimuth and distance. Echo data is stored through the SCSI interface, and it supports multi-channel serial communication and interaction with display and control terminals.
Medical imaging equipment: As a control module in CT and MRI devices, it is connected to the detector array via the VME bus to process the raw image data. The Ethernet interface transmits the data to the workstation for image reconstruction, and the serial interface controls mechanical movements (such as the translation of the scanning bed).
Experimental instruments and data analysis: It is used as the main control unit for laboratory spectrometers, mass spectrometers and other equipment. It collects sensor data through a serial port, stores experimental results through a SCSI interface, and supports multi-task parallel processing (such as data acquisition, algorithm analysis, and interface display).
