Description
MOTOROLA MVME162-013A VME bus Embedded controller
Processor performance: Based on the enhanced 32-bit microprocessor MC68040, the main frequency can be selected as 25MHz or 32MHz. Equipped with an 8KB cache, memory management unit (MMU), and floating-point operation unit (FPU), it can efficiently handle complex algorithms and real-time tasks.
Memory configuration: Standard 4MB shared DRAM, supports expansion up to 16MB, and some models can be increased to 64MB by expanding the mezzanine. It is also equipped with 512KB of SRAM with a spare battery to ensure that data is not lost in case of power failure.
Storage and interface: Built-in 1MB Flash memory, some models have 2MB, supports EPROM and Flash expansion. It provides 4 serial communication ports, including EIA-232 and EIA-422/485 standards, as well as 4 IndustryPack interfaces and an optional SCSI bus interface, which can be adapted to multiple industrial protocols.
Bus and expandability: Compatible with the VME bus standard, it supports A32/D64 master/slave interfaces, featuring four levels of requesters, seven levels of interrupters and interrupt handlers. Functional modules can be added through expansion slots, offering strong expandability.
Environmental adaptability: The operating temperature range is -40 °C to + 85°C, the relative humidity is 5% to 95% (without condensation), and the seismic performance complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard, capable of adapting to harsh industrial environments.
Power supply and power consumption: Supports wide-range DC input of + 5V and ±16V, with a typical power consumption of 20W, which can meet the requirements of distributed control architecture.
Application scenario: It can be applied in the power system and serve as the core controller of the substation automation system. It can also be used in the field of transportation, such as undertaking the tasks of train position tracking and dispatching instruction issuance in the high-speed rail signal control system. It can also be applied in fields such as military equipment and aerospace, responsible for tasks like data collection and real-time computing.
