Powerful processing capability: Equipped with the MPC7457 processor operating at a frequency of 1GHz and featuring the AltiVec coprocessor, it is suitable for data-intensive applications and high-performance computing tasks.
Sufficient memory and storage: Equipped with 512MB of on-board 133MHz SDRAM ECC memory, it can also be expanded by 512MB of memory through a storage mezzanine card, totaling 1GB of memory, which can meet the storage and processing requirements of large amounts of data.
Rich communication interfaces:
It is equipped with a gigabit Ethernet interface and a 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet interface, supporting high-speed network data transmission and facilitating network communication with other devices.
It provides two serial ports, which can be used to connect serial port devices to achieve serial data transmission.

High-speed bus and expansion capability:
It features dual independent 64-bit 33/66 MHZ PCI buses, with each PCI bus having a PMC site. It supports cards operating at 33 or 66MHz and can connect various PCI devices to achieve system function expansion.
It is equipped with the Universe II VME interface and the PMCspan connector, isolated from the PMC sites on the dedicated 33MHz PCI bus segment. Both PMC sites can operate at 66MHz, facilitating connection with other VME devices.
Support processor PMC (PrPMCs) to further expand the processing capacity and functions of the system.

Flexible I/O mode: Supports two jumpers to configure P2 I/O mode, namely PMC mode and IPMC mode. The PMC mode is backward compatible with MVME2300/MVME2400 and MVME5100. In PMC mode, 64 pins from PMC slot 1 and 46 pins from PMC slot 2 are available for PMC rear I/O. In IPMC mode, traditional MVME761 or MVME712M I/O modules are supported.
Data processing and control functions: Each master station can control up to 32,000 points (2,000 words), and ensure the high synchronization of data. Equipped with setup and monitoring functions designed to improve design and startup efficiency.
