Introduction to Technical Features
Processor performance is selectable: It can be equipped with a 60MHz MC68060 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor, featuring a 16KB cache, MMU (Memory Management Unit), and FPU (Floating-point Operation Unit), capable of handling complex floating-point operation tasks and suitable for scenarios with high requirements for computing accuracy and speed. The 64MHz MC68LC060 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor with 16KB cache and MMU can also be selected, which is suitable for cost-sensitive applications with low requirements for floating-point performance.
Rich memory configuration: Equipped with 16MB of configurable SDRAM, the memory size can be adjusted according to the actual application requirements to meet the memory demands of different program runs and data processing. The on-board 2MB flash memory is used to store the on-board monitor/debugger or the firmware installed by the user, facilitating system startup and maintenance. It is also equipped with 8K x 8 NVRAM (non-volatile random Access memory) and a time clock, and comes with a spare battery to retain critical data and system time in the event of power failure.
Multiple communication interfaces: It has two serial communication ports. Among them, the console port is EIA-232-D DCE, and the second port can be configured by the user as EIA-232-D/EIA-422 (V.36) DTE/DCE, which can meet the serial communication requirements of different devices and facilitate connection with other serial port devices. In addition, SCSI and Ethernet interfaces can be optionally equipped. If an Ethernet interface is provided, high-speed network communication can be achieved, facilitating access to industrial networks for data transmission and remote control. If it is equipped with a SCSI interface, it can be connected to external storage devices or other SCSI-compatible devices.
Strong expansion capability It provides four 16-bit or two 32-bit IndustryPack® ports, with one DMA (Direct Memory Access) channel for each port, which can be connected to various IndustryPack modules, such as I/O modules, control modules, analog and digital function modules, etc., to achieve flexible functional expansion.
VMEbus interface: It has A32/D64 VMEbus master/slave interfaces and the function of a system controller. It can be used as a master device or slave device in the VMEbus system to communicate and interact data with other VMEbus modules. Moreover, it supports the VME D64 specification, which improves the data transmission speed and system performance.
Timer function: It is equipped with six 32-bit timers and one watchdog timer, which can be used for timing control, system monitoring and other functions to ensure that the system operates according to the set time logic. When the system malfunctions, the watchdog timer can trigger reset and other operations to ensure the stability of the system.
