NI CFP-AO-210 Analog output module
Channels and resolution: It features 8 output channels with a resolution of 12 bits.
Output range and current capacity: The output voltage range is 0-10V, and each channel can provide 1mA of current output. If an external power supply of 30VDC or 15VDC is used, the current can be increased to 10mA.
Update rate: The full-channel update rate is 200Hz.
Protection function: It has an overcurrent detection function, which can help users analyze faults in wires and sensors, and also provide short-circuit protection when wiring errors occur. Meanwhile, the output terminal has overvoltage protection, and the communication bus between modules and the I/O channel can withstand a transient overvoltage of 2300Vrms.
STATUS indication: Each channel is equipped with a monitoring circuit. When the current exceeds the allowable maximum value, the red Status indicator light of the affected channel will be illuminated, an error will be reported to the network module, and the output voltage will be adjusted simultaneously.
Operating temperature: The operating temperature range is -40 ℃ to 70℃, and the storage temperature range is -55 ℃ to 100℃.
Other features: Supports hot plugging, can be installed on the powered Compact FieldPoint backplane without affecting the operation of other modules, and receives 24VDC working power from the backplane. The default output voltage for each channel is 0V, and the actual full-scale range is 0-10.2V, which can compensate for the range and offset errors of on-site equipment.
Application:
Motor performance testing: In the virtual instrument testing system for motor performance, the CFP-AO-210 is used to provide loading signals for the dynamometer and control the load borne by the motor under test. By outputting specific voltage signals and simulating different load conditions, the performance indicators such as torque, speed and power of the motor can be tested under this load. At the same time, it can be combined with other modules to achieve real-time monitoring of the relevant parameters of the motor.
Escalator energy-saving assessment: In the escalator energy-saving assessment simulation and test platform, the CFP-AO-210 module can receive the signals sent by the main program module of escalator energy-saving assessment and send them to the control unit of the frequency converter and the excitation unit of the DC generator. The speed of the AC variable frequency motor is automatically adjusted by changing the given signal of the frequency converter. At the same time, the excitation current of the DC generator is changed to simulate different passenger flows, and then various operating conditions on the actual escalator are simulated to evaluate the energy-saving effect of the escalator.
Industrial process control: In industrial production processes such as chemical engineering and pharmaceuticals, CFP-AO-210 can be used to control the opening degree of regulating valves. According to the process requirements, the module outputs the corresponding voltage signal to control the actuator of the regulating valve, thereby precisely adjusting the flow rate, pressure and other parameters of the fluid in the pipeline, ensuring that the production process operates stably in accordance with the set process parameters.
Temperature control system: In some environments with high requirements for temperature control accuracy, such as laboratory incubators, industrial ovens, etc. The CFP-AO-210 can output the corresponding voltage signal to the controller of the heating or cooling equipment based on the deviation between the signal fed back by the temperature sensor and the set value, adjust the power of the equipment, achieve precise temperature control, and keep the temperature within the set range.
