Outstanding expansion capability: The cables of the GPIB system can be extended to 1 kilometer, overcoming the limitations in the IEEE 488 standard that the total length of each continuous bus cable is limited to 20 meters or the length of each device cable on the bus is limited to 2 meters. Meanwhile, the number of devices in the GPIB system can be increased from 15 to 26 to meet the requirements of building a more complex test system.
High-speed data transmission: By adopting buffer transmission technology and based on the IEEE 488.1 standard, the maximum transmission rate can reach 1.1MB/s. When the HS488 protocol is adopted, the maximum transmission rate can reach 2.8MB/s, enabling rapid data reading and writing.
Electrical isolation feature: It provides isolation between different segments of the GPIB network, which can protect the connected equipment from electrical interference and potential damage caused by grounding loops or power surges, ensuring the safety of the equipment and the stable operation of the system.
Strong standard compatibility: Compliant with IEEE 488.1 and IEEE 488.2 standards, it can be seamlessly integrated with GPIB-compatible devices produced by different manufacturers such as Agilent, Tektronix and Keysley, without the need for extensive configuration or custom adapters.
High transmission reliability: Supports buffered transmission, allowing data to be stored in a buffer before transmission, which helps prevent data loss and enhances the reliability of data transmission.
Diverse trigger modes: It features multiple trigger modes such as software trigger, hardware trigger, and external trigger, which can flexibly adapt to the trigger requirements in different application scenarios.
Good operating system compatibility: Supports Windows, Linux, macOS and other operating systems, making it convenient for users of different systems to use. It can be used in conjunction with various NI data acquisition cards, instrument driver software, etc., providing flexible and efficient testing solutions.
