Description
NI PXI-1002 PXI chassis
Slot configuration: It has 4 slots, including 3 peripheral slots and 1 controller slot, and is also equipped with 3 controller expansion slots located on the left side of the controller. It is compatible with 3U CompactPCI and 3U PXI modules, can meet the installation requirements of various modules, and provides flexibility for building the test system.
Power supply characteristics: It features an automatic selection function and can operate under AC voltages ranging from 90 to 135V or 180 to 265V. The input frequency is 47 to 63Hz, and the maximum available output power is 170W.
Cooling system: Integrated with 2 fans, it provides filtered forced internal cooling with a total cooling capacity of 300W. Each fan can supply 60 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of filtered air, which helps the modules inside the chassis operate in a stable temperature environment.
Triggering and Synchronization: The backplane supports all trigger signals defined by the PXI specification and high-precision synchronization, including star trigger buses, local buses between modules, and a 10MHz reference clock. The 10MHz reference clock can be utilized to achieve tight synchronization of system modules.
Reliability: The reliability is relatively high. The average time between failures in AC mode is 115,000 hours, and in AC/DC mode it is 79,000 hours.
Working environment: The recommended operating temperature range is 0℃ to 50℃, the storage temperature range is -40 ℃ to 70℃, and the non-condensing relative humidity range is 10% to 90%.
Safety standards: Comply with electrical safety standards such as UL 3111-1, IEC 1010-1 and CSA 22.2 no.1010.1, ensuring safety during use.
Application
Automation control and industrial inspection
Industrial automation system: As the control core, it connects sensor and actuator modules to achieve real-time monitoring and automated control of production line equipment, such as closed-loop control of robotic arm movement and component assembly accuracy in automotive manufacturing.
Non-destructive testing (NDT) : Combined with data acquisition cards and sensor interface modules, it is used for ultrasonic flaw detection and vibration detection of industrial pipelines and pressure vessels. By collecting signals in real time to analyze equipment defects, it ensures production safety.
Aerospace and national defense fields
Avionics equipment testing: In the research and development of aircraft avionics systems, a test platform is built through PXI-1002 to simulate the signal input in the flight environment and verify the anti-interference ability and reliability of the radar and navigation systems.
Weapon system simulation: Combining high-speed data acquisition and real-time computing modules, it is used for semi-physical simulation of missile guidance systems and radar signal processing, supporting the research and development and debugging of national defense equipment.
