NI  PXI-1045  18-slot PXI chassis

Slot configuration: It has 18 slots and can accommodate multiple PXI modules. It can meet the testing requirements of high channel numbers and multiple instruments, and is suitable for building large and complex testing systems. It can accept 3U PXI and 3U Compact PCI modules and has good compatibility.
Power supply features: Equipped with a detachable high-performance 600W power supply, supporting universal AC input, it can provide sufficient power for the modules inside the chassis, ensuring stable system operation.
Synchronous clock: The internal 10MHz reference clock jitter is less than 5ps. It also has 10MHz REF IN and OUT BNC connectors, which can be used to synchronize multiple chassis or modules to achieve high-precision synchronous measurement and control.

Trigger function: It features programmable PXI trigger routing, allowing for flexible trigger Settings between PXI bus segments. All slots on each PXI bus segment share eight PXI trigger lines, and the modules can exchange trigger signals with each other to achieve precise timing and synchronization operations.
Heat dissipation design: The chassis has excellent heat dissipation performance, which can maintain good thermal performance even when some slots are not in use. This helps ensure that the modules operate in a stable temperature environment and enhances the reliability and stability of the system.
Operating temperature: The operating temperature range is 5℃ to 50℃, which can adapt to a certain range of ambient temperatures and can be used in various laboratory or industrial environments.

Application field:
University research and teaching experiment platform: It can simultaneously connect modules such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and DAQ cards to build a full-process experiment system of “signal generation – acquisition – analysis” (such as communication principle experiments and vibration test experiments).

Aerospace equipment
1U rack installation (optional bracket required), integrated with other test equipment (such as spectrum analyzers, power meters) into a standard cabinet to build a compact test system.
The 600W power supply supports hot-swappable replacement to prevent test interruption caused by power failure. The 30W/slot heat dissipation capacity ensures stable temperature for multiple modules when operating at full load (operating temperature 5℃-50℃).
The star trigger function realizes the nanosecond-level synchronous acquisition of multi-channel signals (such as radio frequency and digital bus) of avionics equipment, meeting the requirements for test accuracy in aviation standards such as GJB 151B.
