Description
NI PXI-2796 Radio Frequency Multiplexing switch module
Channel characteristics: It features 6 channels, adopts high-density design, and has redundant 6×1 multiplexer groups within the module. Signals can be transmitted from the signal upper frequency converter module or various power supplies can be routed to the PXI RF signal lower frequency converter module, which is suitable for scenarios that require RF signal switching and routing.
Electrical characteristics: In terms of input, the maximum voltage is 30Vrms, the maximum carrying current per channel is 0.6Arms, and the maximum RF carrying power under a 50Ω load is 18W. When operating at frequencies ≤40GHz, the insertion loss is less than 1.1dB, the voltage standing wave ratio is less than 2.2, the open-channel isolation is greater than 45dB, and the RF carrying power is 5W.
Relay features: Equipped with a non-latch electromechanical relay, the contact material is beryllium copper gold-plated, the engagement/release time is 15ms, and the expected mechanical life is 2×10⁶ cycles.
Interface type: It has 14 SMA 2.9 interfaces as input/output connectors for connecting devices such as RF cables.
Physical specifications: It is of 3U size, occupying two PXI slots, with physical dimensions of 21.6cm×4.1cm×13.0cm.
Trigger method: Utilize the PXI trigger line <0… 7. It can receive and output trigger signals and work synchronously with other PXI modules.
Power consumption and speed: The power consumption is 6 watts, the operating voltage is 12V, and the recommended cycle speed is 5 channels per second.
