Description
NI SCXI-1162HV Digital input module
The NI SCXI-1162HV is a 32-channel optically isolated digital input module, which can be widely applied in scenarios such as industry and laboratories, and can effectively ensure the stability of signal acquisition and equipment safety.
Channel characteristics: It features 32 channels of optically isolated digital input, which are divided into 8 independent groups, with 4 input lines in each group.
Signal measurement range: It can sense various AC or DC signals and handle signals ranging from digital logic level signals to a maximum of 240VAC/VDC. It can monitor TTL level input and also detect the presence of high-voltage AC and DC signals. It is often used to sense the on-off status of power circuits, proximity switches, push-button switches, thermostats and relays.
Isolation performance: The optical isolation design can eliminate the ground loop problem, isolate the main unit from harmful voltages, and provide a working isolation voltage of 300Vrms. Each channel group has a transient overvoltage protection of 2300Vrms, protecting the main unit from the common large common-mode voltages, ground loops and voltage spikes commonly found in industrial and research environments.
Interface method: The signal can be connected through the SCXI-1326 shielded terminal block. The on-site digital signal is connected to the screw terminal of the terminal block and then connected to the front end of the module. The TBX-1326 rail-mounted terminal block can also be used and connected to the module via the SH48-48-B shielded cable. The module is equipped with a 50-pin male ribbon cable rear connector and a 48-pin DIN C-type male front connector.
Working mode: It has two working modes, namely multiplexer and parallel. In multiplexer mode, a data acquisition (DAQ) instrument can read 32-bit digital patterns from the information registers of one or more SCXI modules via the SCXI bus using the serial data protocol, and up to 5 DIO lines of the DAQ instrument can be used. The parallel mode directly connects each module to digital I/O DAQ devices, such as DIO-24, DIO-32 HS, etc.、
Application
Industrial equipment: Real-time monitoring of the on-off status of high-voltage switches, relays, and sensors in industrial equipment (such as motor start and stop, valve opening and closing), and compatible with AC and DC signals within 240VAC/VDC.
Circuit safety: It is used to detect the live state of high-voltage circuits (such as distribution cabinets and transformers), or to monitor the on-off logic of power supply systems.
Laboratory signal acquisition: In electronic experiments, high-voltage pulses and logic level signals (such as TTL/CMOS) are collected and analyzed in conjunction with a data acquisition system (DAQ).
Automation control system: As a digital input front end, it transmits the on-site high-voltage switch signals to PLC or industrial computer to achieve automation control logic (such as alarm linkage, process start and stop). Supports multiplexers and parallel modes, and can be flexibly connected to digital I/O devices such as DIO-24 and DIO-32 HS, adapting to different control system architectures.
