Description
Bently 3500/40 monitor module
Input signal
Signal source: Accepts signals from proximity sensors manufactured by Bently Nevada and can be connected to 1 to 4 proximity sensors.
Sensor type: It can be adapted to various types of proximity probes, such as eddy current probes and capacitive probes.
Measurement parameters
Measurable items: including radial vibration, axial displacement, differential expansion, eccentricity, etc. The REBAM function can also be executed through configuration.
Measurement accuracy: The alarm accuracy is relatively high, within 0.13% of the required alarm value.
Measurement range: It varies depending on the connected sensors and specific configuration. Generally, it can cover the variation range of relevant parameters of rotating machinery during normal operation and possible abnormal conditions. For example, radial vibration can measure minute vibration displacements, and axial displacement can meet the monitoring requirements of possible position changes of the rotating shaft in the axial direction, etc.
Output signal
Analog output: Generally, it provides continuous voltage or current signals representing the measurement parameters, such as the common 4-20mA signal, which can be conveniently connected to other analog input devices or control systems for real-time display, recording or further control operations.
Digital output: It may include relay output or discrete alarm signals, which are used to trigger alarm actions based on preset thresholds, such as controlling external sound and light alarms, or sending switch signals to other systems to achieve emergency shutdown and other protection functions of the equipment.
Communication output: It integrates Ethernet and Modbus RTU communication protocols, facilitating data transmission and integration with other devices or systems, and achieving functions such as remote monitoring, data acquisition and analysis.
Alarm function
Alarm Settings: Users can program each channel through the 3500 rack configuration software to set different alarm thresholds, including warning alarm values and danger alarm values, which can be set within the range of 0 to 100% of the full scale.
Alarm delay: The alarm delay can be programmed by software. The delay time can be set at different intervals, such as from 1 to 60 seconds, with an interval of 1 second. 0.1 seconds or from 1 to 60 seconds, with an interval of 0.5 seconds; From (the calculated minimum value) to 400 seconds, the interval is 0.5 seconds.
Electrical characteristics
Power consumption: The typical power consumption is 7.7 watts.
Input and output impedance: The standard input and output impedance is 10kΩ (for proximity sensors and acceleration input), and the output impedance is 550Ω.
Sensor power supply: Usually, a -24V DC power supply is used to power the proximity sensor.
