Functional characteristics
Multi-channel monitoring: It is a four-channel monitor that can simultaneously monitor four different positions or parameters, improving monitoring efficiency and comprehensiveness.
Multiple measurement functions: Accept input from proximity sensors. Through the 3500 rack configuration software, each channel can be programmed to perform functions such as rod position measurement, rod drop measurement, and super compressor measurement. Moreover, the channels are programmed in pairs, enabling simultaneous execution of multiple functions to meet different monitoring requirements.
Signal processing and comparison: The input signal can be tuned to provide dynamic and static position measurements, and the tuned signal can be compared with the user-programmable alarm value to achieve real-time monitoring and early warning of the equipment’s operating status.
Technical parameters
Input characteristics: Accept 1 to 4 proximity probe signals, with an input impedance of 10kΩ.
Filter characteristics: When measuring the rod position, the peak-to-peak filter is fixed within the range of 1Hz to 600Hz. The gap filter decays by 3dB at 0.09Hz. For the rod drop/super compressor channel, the filter of the average piston position is fixed at 1Hz to 600Hz, and the average gap is -3dB at 0.09Hz.
Accuracy: The accuracy is ±0.33% of the full scale, capable of precisely measuring and reflecting the status parameters of the equipment.
Front panel indication: It is equipped with LED indicator lights such as OK, TX/RX, and bypass, allowing users to intuitively understand the working status, communication status, and whether the monitor is in bypass mode.
Application field
It is mainly applied to the monitoring of reciprocating compressors and complies with the API 618 standard. By monitoring key parameters such as the position, descent and supercompression of the piston rod, it provides mechanical protection for reciprocating compressors. At the same time, it offers important equipment operation information to operators and maintenance personnel, which helps to detect potential faults in a timely manner and ensure the safe and stable operation of the compressor.
