High-performance processor It is equipped with a 32MHz MC68040 enhanced 32-bit microprocessor, featuring an 8KB cache, memory management unit (MMU), and floating-point unit (FPU). Alternatively, you can choose a 25MHz MC68040 or MC68LC040 processor. It can meet the processing requirements of complex algorithms and real-time tasks.
Multiple memory configurations: Standard 4MB shared DRAM, expandable to 16MB, and some models can be increased to 68MB by expanding the mezzanine. It is also equipped with 512KB of SRAM with a spare battery to ensure that data is not lost after power failure, as well as 8K×8 NVRAM and a clock with a spare battery.
Rich storage functions: Built-in 1MB Flash memory for on-board monitors, debuggers or user-installed firmware, and supports EPROM and Flash expansion for convenient storage of system firmware and user programs.
Diverse interface types: It has 2 serial communication ports. The console port is EIA-232-D DTE. The second port can be configured by users as EIA-232-D or EIA-242-D, etc. It also features 4 16 or 32-bit IndustryPack® ports, each with a DMA channel. Additionally, optional SCSI bus interface or Ethernet transceiver interface are available to meet the connection requirements of different devices.
Powerful bus functions: Compatible with the VMEbus standard, supports A32/D64 master/slave interfaces, and is equipped with a four-level requester, seven-level interrupter, and seven-level interrupt handler of VMEbus. Functional modules can be added through expansion slots to achieve flexible system expansion.
Flexible timer configuration: Equipped with 6 32-bit timers, 4 of which do not involve VMEbus, and a programmable watchdog timer, it helps with the system’s timing control and fault monitoring, and can be used for precise time control and system operation status monitoring.
Convenient debugging and management: It is equipped with remote RESET/ABORT/STATUS control functions, and has an on-board debugger and diagnostic firmware, which facilitates the debugging and maintenance of the system and reduces maintenance costs and difficulty.
