Description

Woodward  9907-252  load sharing module

Power supply requirements: The nominal power supply voltage is 24 volts DC, and the working voltage range should be at least 18 to 32 volts DC.
Input and output specifications:
Input: Including three-phase PT and CT inputs. The line-to-line voltage range of the PT input is 95 to 130 volts AC, and the CT input requires 3 to 7A Rms at full load. It also has a 0-3 volt DC load-sharing input, and the synchronous input is compatible with the Woodward SPM-A synchronizer.
Output: The analog output type adopts + 0.5 to + 4.5VDC.

Main functions:
Synchronous load sharing: It can provide load regulation for generators. Even if two or more generators are connected in parallel, a stable output can still be maintained.
Sudden drop load balancing: It can reduce output under no-load and full-load conditions, helping to balance the load distribution between parallel generators.
Adjustment function: The module can perform adjustments such as sinking and load gain to adapt to different operating conditions and load requirements.
Performance features: It has strong impact resistance and can withstand an impact force of up to 40G under an 11-millisecond sawtooth pulse.

Application field
Industrial power plants: In industrial production, many large factories have their own power plants, which usually operate multiple generators in parallel to meet the large electricity demands during the production process. The 9907-252 load sharing module can ensure that each generator reasonably shares the load according to its capacity, prevent any generator from overloading, improve the stability and reliability of the power generation system, and guarantee the normal operation of factory production equipment.

Ship power system: A ship needs multiple electrical devices to operate simultaneously, such as propulsion systems, communication equipment, living facilities, etc., and has a very high requirement for the stability of power supply. This module can be used for generators operating in parallel on ships. It can promptly adjust the load of each generator when the ship’s load changes, such as starting large equipment or when multiple devices are running simultaneously, maintaining the stability of the power system and ensuring the safety of ship navigation and the normal operation of equipment on board.

Data center: As a place where a large number of servers and network devices operate, data centers have extremely high requirements for the continuity and stability of power supply. The Woodward 9907-252 load sharing module can be applied to the backup generator system of data centers. When the mains power fails and the backup generator starts to operate in parallel, it can effectively distribute the load, ensuring continuous and stable power supply for data center equipment and preventing data loss and business interruption.

Key locations such as hospitals: Medical equipment in hospitals, such as CT machines and ventilators, have strict requirements for power supply stability and are not allowed to experience prolonged power outages. In the backup power supply system of the hospital, this load sharing module can enable the parallel generator to operate stably, ensuring that in the event of a mains power failure, the backup generator can reliably supply power to medical equipment, safeguarding the lives of patients and the normal operation of the hospital.

Mobile power stations: Mobile power stations are often used in emergency rescue, fieldwork and other scenarios, and are usually composed of multiple generators. The 9907-252 load sharing module can automatically adjust the output of each generator according to the actual load demand, enabling the mobile power station to supply power efficiently and stably under different working conditions and meeting the needs of on-site electrical equipment.
