Description
Core Overall Specifications
Appearance & Power Consumption
With a volume of approximately 1.1 cubic feet and a compact transmitter-style structure, it occupies far less installation space than traditional cabinet-mounted chromatographs. Its power consumption under normal operation is less than 7 W, and it features a cast aluminum explosion-proof enclosure for on-site local installation.
The standard operating temperature range is 0°C~55°C, which can be extended to -40°C~55°C with optional low-temperature components. It holds explosion-proof and metering certifications and complies with custody transfer standards AGA8, GPA2172 and ISO6976.
Power supply options include 16~28 VDC direct current or 110/230 V alternating current.
Analysis Unit
Detector: Dual-channel Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD). Dual-channel chromatographic columns enable parallel separation to simultaneously detect inorganic gases and hydrocarbons. High-purity helium is used as carrier gas with a consumption rate below 20 mL/min. The standard analysis cycle lasts 5 minutes and is user-configurable.
Measurable Components (mol%)
- Inorganic components: N₂, CO₂ (measuring range: 0.01~100%, minimum detection limit: 0.005%)
- Light hydrocarbons: Methane, ethane, propane, isobutane, n-butane, neopentane, isopentane, n-pentane, C6+ heavy fractions
- Optional module: H₂S hydrogen sulfide analysis kit for sulfur-containing natural gas
Accuracy Indicators
Calorific value repeatability: ±0.125 Btu/1000 Btu at ambient temperature; ±0.25 Btu/1000 Btu across the full temperature range. The minimum detection limit for components ranges from 0.001 to 0.005 mol%.
Automatic calculation outputs: Gross and net heating values, Wobbe index, relative density, compression factor, Velocity of Sound (VOS), and condensate content in gallons per thousand cubic feet (GPM).
Controller & Storage
It is equipped with a built-in dedicated 32-bit Windows CE controller that automatically resolves chromatographic peaks and performs real-time calorific value metering calculations. Local storage supports 480 sets of diagnostic parameters, 480 event and alarm logs, and historical chromatograms to facilitate custody transfer traceability and auditing.
The supporting PCCU32 software is available for commissioning, allowing on-site debugging via USB connection to laptops.
Communication Interfaces
- Serial ports: RS232, isolated RS485 (Modbus RTU)
- Digital ports: USB debugging port; industrial Ethernet is optional
- Data output formats: CSV files and standard SCADA / flow computer protocols, compatible with RTUs, gas metering systems and third-party energy management platforms
