Slope mode setting: The COMMREQ command can be used to set the slope mode for any channel or both output channels. The slope of the ramp can be set in COMMREQ, with a total ramp time ranging from 1 millisecond to 32 seconds. It can also be set to 1 to 32,000 1-millisecond sequences. The channel will remain in slope mode until the module receives a new COMMREQ command or power cycle.
Electrical parameters: Rated voltage is 120Vac, output voltage range is 85Vac to 132Vac, 50/60Hz. Each module has 12 outputs, divided into two groups, with six outputs in each group. The isolation from the field to the backplane (optical) and the rack grounding is 250Vac continuous and 1500Vac for 1 minute. The isolation from group to group is also 250Vac continuous and 1500Vac for 1 minute. At 60°C, the maximum output current at each point is 0.5 amperes, and the maximum value for each group is 1 ampere. At 50°C, the maximum output current for each group is 2 amperes.

Output characteristics: The maximum inrush current for one cycle is 5 amperes, the minimum load current is 50mA, the maximum output voltage drop is 1.5 volts, and the maximum output leakage current at 120Vac is 3mA. The maximum connection response time is 1ms, and the maximum shutdown response time is half a cycle. When all outputs are connected, the power consumption from the 5Vdc bus on the backplane is 210mA.
Input characteristics (reference for similar modules) : The reference similar module MVME167PA-24SE has a rated voltage of 125Vdc, an input voltage range of 0 to 150Vdc, and 16 inputs per module (a group with a single common). The input current at the rated voltage is 1.97mA (typical), the on-state voltage is 90 to 150Vdc, and the off-state voltage is 0 to 30Vdc. The on-state current of 1.41mA is relatively small, and the off-state current of 0.46mA is relatively large. The typical values of both the on-state response time and the off-state response time are 8ms.

Wiring requirements: The wiring can use twisted copper conductors or solid wires, rated at 90° C. One 14-22AWG or two 16-22AWG conductors can be selected. The wiring torque of the power strip is 1.08 to 1.30Nm (9.6 to 11.5 in-lb), and the combination of solid wires or stranded wires shall not be used in the same terminal, nor shall the combination of different wire sizes be used in one terminal.

Other features: The module can be installed in any I/O slot of the RX3i system and supports the insertion and removal of the powered RX3i universal backplane. Some models are equipped with LED indicator lights that can show the on/off status of the output point or the status of the fuse, etc.
